Dr. George Lefkovits, M.D., F.A.C.S.New York City Plastic SurgeonGeorge Lefkovits, M.D. is a successful and well-respected plastic surgeon practicing in New York City, just off 5th Avenue on the upper East side. Lefkovits attended Georgetown
University School of Medicine and Downstate
Medical College. He completed his residency training at Manhattan
Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and at Lenox
Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery.
He also served as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at New
York Medical College. Dr. Lefkovits is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is currently a member of many professional societies including: American Society of Plastic and Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Lipoplasty Society of North America, Surgical Society of New York Medical College, New York County and New York State Medical Societies, and the New York Academy of Science. Dr. Lefkovits has served as President of the Semmelweis Scientific Society, and he has served on the Public Relations Committee of the New York County Medical Society. He has published in the Plastic Surgical literature and lectured at state, national and international meetings. He has been presented demonstrating his technique of Buttock augmentation on the NBC-Today Show. He has also appeared on RTL-News regarding Buttock augmentation broadcast in Germany and in Switzerland. Dr. Lefkovits has been interviewed by many leading magazines and newspapers and has appeared on many television and radio shows including: Larry King Live Radio, Good Day New York, NBC Special “Life in the Fat Lane” with Connie Chung, and the Joe Franklin Show. Dr. Lefkovits continues to lecture and teach on a variety of medical topics. Dr. Lefkovits is married and has four children. For leisure he enjoys tennis and golf, and exercises regularly. He coaches his children’s Little League basketball teams. He enjoys the rich culture life of New York City, especially the Metropolitan Opera.
